Season 2 - Day 65 - Farewell 2008

In the coming hours the clock will strike midnight in my time zone and another year will have come and gone. Much has been written about 2008 and in the coming years, I'm sure some historian will further write about its impact upon mankind. It would be an understatement to suggest that this year was full of up's and down's. Many people were certainly caught off guard by the global meltdown and the looming financial situation. Much like the game "musical chairs" the fortunate have managed to find a seat while the music stops.

However, I often wonder how much longer can the game continue? At what point do the chairs run out? 2008 has not looked kindly upon some, yet for others it has been a life transforming year. Be it luck or something else I fall into the latter camp that has managed to emerge from this year both mentally and physically stronger. I am very thankful for what this year bestowed upon me, and the feeling of gratitude washes over me like a wave of energy. My business has grown and expanded in ways I never thought, I've recorded a pilot for an upcoming show, and so much more exciting things have manifested in my life.

During the past six months as a Law of Attraction practitioner I've experienced joy's and wonders on a scale that I never knew existed. My life has changed for the better this year and I would be remiss if I did not take a brief moment to list the achievements that The Universe manifested for me.

  • I started an online business
  • My company attracted over 70 new clients (more than the previous 3 years combined)
  • I taught a workshop of 19 students
  • I run a monthly meet up with 43 members
  • I found gold
  • I started three successful blogs
  • I have over 220 posts on my blogs
  • Tens of thousands of people have visited my sites this year
  • I finished a year long renovation project on my house
  • My business has earned more money than ever before
  • I filmed a pilot for an upcoming show
  • I am in the process of purchasing a luxury car
  • I went on an amazing vacation
  • I donated original one of kind sketches to the National Arboretum in Washington DC
  • Learned about The Law of Attraction
  • Employed a friend that needed a job
  • My blog has saved potential scam victims over $20,000
  • I'm currently planning a huge birthday bash for 2009
  • I've developed stronger friendships with those closest to me
  • Performed live with talented musicians at various times
  • Self esteem and confidence has increased drastically
  • Achieved sales goals throughout the year

All this and so much more has occurred for me in 2008. I am grateful to have lived this year, and I know that 2009 will bring even more prosperity. I've decided to make this coming year my most productive year to date; as I am eagerly awaiting whatever may come my way.

Season 2 - Day 62

On this final weekend of 2008 must say farewell to the NFL regular season. It seems like last week opening kick off commenced, now after 16 fantastic weeks its all but a memory. As I reflect on these moments, I am drawn to how unpredictable life can be. At any time situations, people, and events can change on a dime.

Before the football season started, the mantra from the NFL was "Live in the Now." When I first heard that slogan I thought it was appropriate for me as a practitioner of The LOA. Focusing on the now directs one's thoughts and energy to become present with what is happening now and not the past. No matter what has happened in the past, there is nothing anyone can do about it. Instead of wasting time focusing on negative past events, accept life for what it is and move on. By moving forward, we are able to see and meet new challenges head on, instead of being sideswiped.

During the week leading up to a big NFL game, the players and coaches prepare for their next opponent by studying their tactics. In life we can achieve success and manifest goals by preparing for what may come next. Additionally, in order to maintain victory or mastery of the goal at hand, one must dissect the desired goal and formulate a game plan to cut straight through
task to absolute victory. Even if success or victory may not come instantly, persistence and integrity will lead to manifestations which may lead to achieving the desired results.

This afternoon I took the final step in completing a six month long business project. I started in late July and will wrap up tomorrow evening. The renovation project has expanded my business and will bring in more money than ever. I am truly grateful and feel extremely blessed to have had an extremely productive 2008. While fears of global recessions and dire economic conditions have affected many, I can honestly say that my business has managed to expand and will continue to lead the charge into next year.

With day 62 in the books, and the year all but over I must humbly give my gratitude to The Universe for bestowing me with the opportunity to make others happy. I love the feeling of knowing that I am making a difference in the overall prosperity of other people, by instilling self-confidence and happiness everyday. Never before have I felt so connected to my clients, friends, family, and to myself. The personal growth that I have experienced within me is expanding daily, and I enjoy knowing that next year will be even more prosperious than ever. I am thrilled with the prospect of living life to its fullest in changing times.

Season 2 - Day 61

This week was amazing. On Christmas day I found out that another client has been attracted to my business. I am so thankful for the opportunity to service people from all over the world. In addition I am in the process of allowing more ideal clients to purchase goods and services from me. As December winds down, I am actively pursuing more sales and finishing this year off strong.

With less than a week left in 2008, this year has been the most productive and lucrative for my company. I am grateful for the record sales and clients that The Universe has brought. I have decided to create new marketing materials and products to my companies portfolio. In addition I have begun to formulate a new definitive plan for attracting even more sales in 2009. I am in the process of putting that plan into action today, and will strive more than ever to manifest my sales goals and desires.

It has been fun documenting my successes and thoughts for the past six months. I have learned alot about The Law of Attraction, what I can achieve, and how to create even more successes. I have grown to realize that life is truly what we make of it. Therefore I will stay busy working towards my goals instead of letting procrastination set in. My goals for next year are the most ambitious I've ever had. I will own a 3,000 square foot house, I will drive a Porsche, I will celebrate my birthday in a foreign country, and my business will make more money than at any other time.

For now I feel humbled to have spent the holidays with my closest friends and family members. I enjoy knowing that people need and can depend on me no matter what time day or night. I have worked very hard to maintain professional and personal relationships this year and it's nice to feel needed. Deep down I know that everything I desire to continue my extra ordinary life is within reach. I have been blessed with intelligence, integrity, diligence, and a strong work ethic. I am at my best when combining these attributes, so I will continue to develop these skills. My life is fruitful and I am looking forward to living it more and more.

Persistence

Napolean Hill once wrote that persistence is an essential factor in the procedure of transmuting desire into its monetary equivalent. Like all states of mind, persistence is based upon definite causes, among them these:
  • DEFINITENESS OF PURPOSE. Knowing what one wants is the first, and perhaps, the most important step toward the development of persistence. A strong motive forces one to surmount many difficulties.
  • DESIRE. It is comparatively easy to acquire and to maintain persistence in pursuing the object of intense desire.
  • SELF-RELIANCE. Belief in one's ability to carry out a plan encourages one to follow the plan through with persistence.
  • DEFINITENESS OF PLANS. Organized plans, even though they may be weak and entirely impractical, encourage persistence.
  • ACCURATE KNOWLEDGE. Knowing that one's plans are sound, based upon experience or observation, encourages persistence; "guessing" instead of "knowing" destroys persistence.
  • CO-OPERATION. Sympathy, understanding and harmonious cooperation with others tend to develop persistence.
  • WILL-POWER. The habit of concentrating one's thoughts upon the building of plans for the attainment of a definite purpose, leads to persistence.
  • HABIT. Persistence is the direct result of habit. The mind absorbs and becomes part of the daily experiences upon which it feeds. Fear, the worst of all enemies, can be effectively cured by forced repetition of acts of courage. Everyone who has seen active service in war knows this.

Before leaving the subject of persistence, take inventory of yourself, and in what particular, if any you are lacking in this essential quality. Measure yourself courageously, point by point, and see how many of the eight factors of persistence you lack. The analysis may lead to discoveries that will give you a new grip on yourself.

Season 2 - Day 57

The past week has been full of hard work and celebrations. I hired a friend of mine who has been out of work for a while to make repairs on my house. We installed new doors, painted ceilings, installed new casings, and uprooted trees. Time was a serious factor due to an office christmas party at my house last night.

Between the two of us working 10 hour days, we managed to finish with thirty minutes to spare. In fact I had enough time to clean up and heat appetizers just as guests were arriving. I am so thankful for having the money to hire a good friend, which allowed him the ability to purchase christmas gifts for his family. In return for his fine craftsmanship my house looks better than ever before, as a keystone has been placed on a full year of renovations.

While 2008 may have been challenging at times, it has been full of opportunity. I've gained more clients this year than ever before, and feel great about attracting even more clients in 2009. I also that I've grown alot this year in terms of leadership, decisiveness, and integrity. In addition I came to the realization that the Law of Attraction does work, and is in fact always at work in my life. I accept this and know that The Universe is already working to bring me what I truly desire.

On day 57 I find myself excited about the future. I can physically view the tangible results from my hard work. In addition I can see that my life has meaning and that many people depend on me. I have decided to finish this week and the remainder of the year on a strong positive note. I can feel increased financial independence being bestowed upon me. Furthermore, I am in the process of attracting more clients before January. More and more I can feel and see myself achieving this goal.

Season 2 - Day 50

There is an old saying that states "The end of one thing is the beginning of another." When looking at the current global economic conditions, this statement rings more true than ever. Kaybee toy stores started in 1922 and are a staple point for children around the USA. Recently, the Board of Directors for Kaybee toys announced it plans to close all 277 stores by early 2009. In less than a year the foundation of an 86 year old company crumbles to nothing.

Likewise, earlier this month other giant chain stores such as Circuit City, Mervyn's, Starbucks, and many more have announced huge job cuts and store closures. This is significant because when the "to big to fail" companies lose revenue, it brings money back to "Main Street." This means while the huge mega malls wither and close, local main street establishments will experience a revival. This systemic change is the perfect opportunity for entrepreneurs.

The mantra for 2008 has been "Change." The current economic situation facilitates the new revolution for those who are savvy enough make definite decisions, while acting quickly on their plans. The Law of Attraction states that when a business closes its doors, another business will benefit greatly. Money is energy and it always flows towards the path of least resistance. Never in recent times has the opportunity to create a comfortable lifestyle been so attainable. The entrepreneur who sees and acts upon the current and near future trends will experience success on a higher level than in recent memory.

Yet while this may seem overly simplified, many people will procrastinate and find themselves in even worse financial straights. Procrastination is the killer of all dreams, desires, and achievements. To combat this scourge upon mankind, one must stay vigilant and keep pushing for that which they want. We all experience moments of dragging our feet or outright laziness, yet when we persevere through the drudging feeling of wane, that is when personal growth and character is formed.

Today I have decided to continue expanding my non-profit organization and other business ventures. I am in the process of raising enough money to fulfill my short term goals, which will provide desperately needed infrustructure to people in need. More and more I picture in my mind what it feels like to achieve this. The journey has only yet begun!

Season 2 - Day 48

The weather this weekend has been perfect. The cloudy skies have given way to crisp clear blue skies. I'm a huge fan of colder climates and for some reason October - December are my absolute favorite months. My task today is to assist in setting up christmas decorations. I was remodeling my house last year, so there was no christmas tree. After two years it's time for christmas in my house.

I found some more photos from my trip to Washington DC and decided to post them. Overall I was satisfied with how my photos turned out, the low lighting conditions were an obstacle but some people think they are very nice. On my next vacation I will do whatever I can to capture even better photos. I've decided to do a little research and will consider purchasing a digital SLR camera.

This coming week will be devoted to attracting more money for my business. I am in the process of getting paid for my last project and can see myself already in possession of the amount that I desire. I love seeing my business expanding and the thought of being financially independent seems more attainable everyday. I am in the process of creating a new plan for January that will be beneficial to me and my business.

On another front, my consumer reports website is now averaging over 120 hits a day. My goal is to bump that total to at least 500 hits a day as soon as possible. I know this is possible and I am committed to making this happen ASAP. I truly enjoy the feeling of knowing that I am helping people from around the world, and as a result my visitors avoid being scam victims. When I started the site in April I never imagined it being as successful as it is. Now that I can imagine it, the Universe will deliver it to me. Yes life really can be that simple if we allow it to be.

The last weeks of 2008 will be very productive for me. I've grown so much this year and learned more and more about myself. As the holiday season moves along, I understand that a new year will begin. In a short time from now, I will have the opportunity to start anew, as if being reborn into a new set of 365 days to accomplish that which I desire most. The future is not set, certain things may be, but free will is what rules. The Universe obeys free will and responds accordingly. Perhaps no greater sentiment could be said from me regarding this matter. Proof again that I constantly growing and becoming more secure with who I am and where I want to go!

7 Steps to Unlimited Success

Are you tired of your dreams being just wishful thinking or unattainable fantasies? One major difference between a dreamer and a successful person is the ability to achieve goals. The dreamer just dreams while the successful person puts their dreams into action. Goals are the blueprint to making your dreams a reality.
Get your goals going by following these 7 proven steps:
1. Determine your goals. Establishing clear goals lay the foundation of ultimately achieving them. Put your goals on paper. Be specific. When dreams are too vague, establishing goals becomes difficult. Have a clear vision of what you want the result to be. Ask yourself, "What do I really want?" Determining what goals you really want to accomplish will make the steps to achieving them easier to define.

2. Make a Commitment. You must give 100% to seeing your goals all the way through. Adopt a no excuses approach. Be honest with yourself. Are you willing to do whatever it takes to achieve your goals? Are you willing to devote your time, energy, and finances if necessary? Are you ready to make sacrifices? Is your dream worth fighting for? If the desire is strong enough, you will be able to stay on track and let nothing derail you. There is no need to move forward until you can commit.

3. Plan of Action. Now that your goals are clear, you must begin to put them in motion. Develop a plan of action- specific steps that lead to accomplishing your goals. It is amazing how many people stop at just determining their goals. Success is about doing, it is about action. Really focus on your goals one at a time and ask yourself, "What actions do I need to do to accomplish it?" Identify the outcome you want, and decide what steps are needed to move forward.

4. Give Yourself Deadlines. Look at your plan of action and determine at least 3 weekly tasks that will bring you closer to achieving each of your goals. If your goal is to lose 25 lbs. in 6 months, your action tasks could be to join a gym, make an appointment with a nutritionist, and remove all junk food from kitchen. Choose your deadline and stick to it- no excuses, no matter what. You must determine tasks and deadlines on a weekly basis. You can also consider what you want to accomplish in a year, 6 months, and 1 month to help establish your weekly tasks.

5. Get prepared for roadblocks. Once you are on the road to success, you can expect some bumps along the way. It will happen, so you might as well get prepared. What has stopped you before? Chances are those same obstacles will try to stop you again. Learn ways to blast the barriers that keep you from your dreams. Turn negative thoughts into positive ones, surround yourself with supportive people, don't just quit if you can't finish a task, read at the library if you are too distracted at home. Do whatever it takes to keep you on your mission. Always remember your best protection is to keep your eye on the prize. When discouragement comes, close your eyes and visualize achieving your goal. Take it a step further and really feel that moment of victory.

6. Get support. There is nothing like the support of a trusted friend who is willing to help you. They can keep you on track to achieving your goals. They will hold you accountable and ask you how you are doing with your weekly tasks. Knowing that you have to "check-in" with someone is a huge motivator. Go over your goals, plan of action, and weekly tasks with them. You can also do activities together. Determine and agree on how best they can help you. They will be your cheerleader- always rooting for you to win. Establish some time with them at least once a week. Let your friend know where you are and what needs to be achieved for the week. Share with them any successes and disappointments along the way.

7. Celebrate the small victories. It is easy to be discouraged when it takes time to achieve your goals. Experience the beauty and victory in accomplishing all the smaller tasks that lead to your ultimate desire. Celebrating the small successes is a great way to remain motivated and inspired.
You will get your goals going by following these 7 proven steps. Momentum is powerful. Goal setting is one of the most effective tools to transforming your life. So take the necessary action now and make your goals come true today. There is nothing as rewarding, exhilarating, and satisfying as seeing your goals become a reality.
Now get those goals going!

Season 2 - Day 46

So long to a good work week. I had the opportunity to enjoy this past week. I cooked, cleaned, took care of business, and enjoyed a couple bottles of wine. My good friend stopped by and we drank a bottle of sake, which turned out to be really cool.

I am now in the process of completing my application process for graduate school and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. This year has been amazing and it feels so good to reflect and see how far I've come. Overall 2008 has been an introspective year, and I have accomplished so many feats by breaking ground on new projects.

As the dawn of a new year rises I am committed to taking a European vacation in late winter or spring. I am currently deciding between Switzerland, Czech Republic, or Spain. I know that the Universe is already working to bring me this desire, and I love seeing myself enjoying an optimal European vacation. No matter where I end up, it just feels good to mention visiting new places and seeing new sights. Life is meant to be lived, and I am ready to live more and more everyday.

On another personal note I am looking forward to closing out a four month job for my business. The money that I will receive for this will allow me to purchase a new luxury car, a vacation, fund my non-profit organization, start new business endeavours, continue current business operations, and save more money than ever. I love seeing myself achieving this milestone and I am committed to seeing it through.

This weekend will bring me the opportunity to finish my projects, and allow me to focus on achieving financial success. I want it to happen because whenever I sent my mind to a task, it does come to fruition. Here's to finishing the year off strong!!

Season 2 - Day 43

Man alive, where does the time go? It's now day 43 and so much is happening. My family is moving closer to purchasing a luxury car, my relative is in the process of obtaining a new job, and my non-profit website is about to go live. I am so excited about life and and what the Universe is manifesting for me.

By the end of this week I expect my business to close out the biggest job in two years. The money received from this will be a huge blessing and will be put to good use. Among other things, I am looking forward to launching a new internet based venture. For the past two years I have had an idea of creating a social networking site and now I'm at the point where that can be a reality. I've decided that a business dedicated to bringing people together can be successful, especially these uncertain times.

On another note, today I received an email from the law enforcement community due to the overwhelming success of my consumer reports website. As of today, I estimate that over 30,000 visitors a month check out my site. As a result, the online scams featured have finally gotten the attention of law enforcement. More importantly I am grateful that my site steers people away from becoming victims. In these economic conditions I understand that many people are hurting financially, and it brightens my day to know that I am helping tens of thousands of people from around the world each and every month.

My goal is to achieve 100,000 visitors a month to my site, and to actually put the crooks who commit online scams in jail. I have decided the best course of action would be to continue spreading my message, and by turning up the pressure on would be con men. More and more I see myself achieving this goal, and being featured on a tv news segment.

Before this week is finished I am in the process of attracting the following:
  • I will finish the job my company is working on
  • I am in the process of completing my non profit website
  • I am in the process of attracting 100,000 visitors to my consumer reports site
  • I have decided to take a European vacation
  • I am in the process of selecting a new car
  • I will have a new desire statement

Overall this week is going well and I am thankful for everything that has occurred. I am staying positive because I know lots can happen and the Universe is responding to my deepest wishes and desires. I have achieved many things in the past 43 days, and I know that the remaining 47 will be amazing! I'm ready to accept whatever comes my way.

Season 2 - Day 39

The holiday season is upon us and soon Christmas will be here. I cannot believe how fast this year has gone by. It seems like yesterday I was ringing in 2008 and now a new year in knocking on the door. Where does the time go? On the bright side I have achieved so many things this year and I know 2009 will be even better.

Professionally, I am learning everyday about my company and who I am as a leader. I am so grateful for living in the country I do and having the ability to pursue my dreams and aspirations. I have decided to act upon my unlimited potential and tap The Universe for the wonders it will provide. My life is filled with extraordinary events and people that have helped shape it. As this year winds down I want to continuously live in an attitude of gratitude for what I have been given.

This week I received an inquiry for a potential customer from the Netherlands. I love knowing that when I allow new people into my life, The Universe responds by sending me that which I give focus, energy, and attention towards. I've never had a customer from Holland so I am truly excited at the possibility of this opportunity. More and more I enjoy the feeling of December being my highest grossing sales month of the year. When I close my eyes and think about this month, I love seeing my business finish 2008 on a strong note.

In April of this year I started a consumer reports website dedicated to fighting internet crime. I remember choosing the layout and writing my first post with the vague notion that perhaps people would read it. After a month or more I received my first comment and was so excited that someone actually took the time to read it. As time went on I noticed more and more people took interest, and my message was spreading. Today I estimate that over 30,000 visitors a month view my site, and the number is growing larger by the day. I have people from Europe, North America, and Asia who have registered comments telling me to keep up the good job. It makes me happy to know that my site is directly responsible for educating people against cyber attacks, and potential victims have saved tens of thousands of dollars do to the information I post.

When I think about the good things that I have done for total strangers, it makes me realize that I am on the right side of humanity. I've tried to do be the good guy in life, but I know there have been times when I did questionable things. I've had some relationships end on sour notes, partly due to my actions, but all and all I have no complaints. It's so easy to stroll down memory lane and remember events that happened years ago, but what good does that do? You cannot change the past, it is what it is. I've learned to be happy, accept what you've been given, and move on by making the most out of life. Here's to you 2008, thanks for making it a great year!!!

Season 2 - Day 37

Yesterday I was awoken by a family member calling me. There had been a car accident and they wanted me to help them take photos of the scene. I threw on my clothes and rushed down the street as fast as I frantically could. When I got to the site two police cruisers, and a handful of on lookers crowded around the early morning activities.

After surveying the seen, I was so thankful that my family member was for the most part ok. The impact of collision had occurred on the front drivers side door. The generated force had completely caved in the door, thus rendering it inoperable. The rear drivers side door was also dented and I had difficulty opening it as well. As bad as the crash was, it could have been even worse. However, nothing could have prepared me for what my family member told me.

For over a month now I have been using The Law of Attraction to obtain a luxury car. I have made getting a new car a goal for this seasons one hundred day challenge. Well apparently I'm not the only one who has been thinking about getting a new car. My relative informed me that they have been wanting to get a new car for sometime as well. In fact they were actively giving that desire attention, focus, and energy for the past week. They were tired of driving the same car for over eight years and felt that a change was coming soon. It did alright, and it appears as if a new car is on the way.

I was able to look at cars online with them today, and we settled on three different cars to further research. The final selections consist of a Mercedes-Benz, Audi TT, and Volvo. These cars are a considerable upgrade to the previous car, and will provide my family the opportunity to step up in life. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, and I hope the driver of the other car is doing fine as well. I love knowing that The Universe is going to deliver the optimum vehicle to us, and that it will fulfill our needs in the future.

My family is truly blessed and a potentially bad situation was turned around. This good fortune is a direct result of The Law of Attraction working in our lives. Miracles do happen if we allow them to, and this experience has provided me with the resolve to carry on and achieve the other goals on my list. I am in the process of writing a December desire statement, and I am aiming high because whatever I decide ultimately comes to pass. So the question for today is, what do I really want?

Season 2 - Day 35

This past weekend was full of unexpected surprises and festivities. On Saturday a friend of mine called and needed a place to crash for him and his son. Apparently things with his old lady went south quickly, and he needed a safe house. Of course I welcomed my new guests with open arms and tried to make my place as comfortable as possible.

As the evening progressed I fired up my small coal burning BBQ and grilled some tasty chicken, veggies, and potatoes. I absolutely love grilling food and it felt really good to use my BBQ for the first time in almost a year. The inviting smell of cooking over an open fire filled the crisp Nov. air was amazing. All and all it was a good evening, and I'm glad to have been there for a friend in need.

Well December is finally here and this year is just about over. However before I go further I want to pause and give thanks for November. Last month was a great month for me and my business. Here is a list of things that I am grateful for attracting in November:
  • I achieved a sales goal
  • I went on a week long vacation to the East Coast
  • I ate at my favorite restaurants (Ben's Chili Bowl, Double T Diner)
  • Spent Thanksgiving with my family
  • Enrolled in a new educational program
  • Attracted 9 new clients
  • Cleared up areas around my house
  • Close to finishing a huge job for my company
  • Gained confidence in The Law of Attraction
  • Learned that Desire statements work!

Now that December is here, I am in the process of finishing this year on a strong note. I have many goals for this month and plan on achieving them. I see myself living the life that I want, and I'm excited that another year is right around the corner. It's been an amazing year for me, I've grown so much and done alot of new things. The Universe has blessed me with more than I could have expected and I humbly accept it all.
